Haiflon® PTFE Fine Powder SF-6801 is a fluororesin which is suitable for tubes with excellent transparency and for electric wires requiring heat resistance.

Haiflon® PTFE Fine Powder SF-6801 is a polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder in the form of white powder without PFOA.
- Paste extrusion molding can be carried out by adding auxiliary agent. Because it has a property easily to fiberize when shear force is applied.
- It is suitable for forming tubes that require transparency.
- It can also be used for wire coatings that require heat resistance.
Application:
Tubes with excellent transparency and for electric wires requiring heat resistance.

Safety precautions for using PTFE fine powder
1. The work area are should keep well-ventilated, as toxic gases of HF and COF2 liberated during hot processing. During the incineration of polymer, the acid gases must be eliminated by alkali filteration before emission.
2. Workers should avoid breathing in harmful gases emitted in the process and wear necessary labor protection stuff.
3. Smoking in working area is prohibited to avoid inhalation of toxic gases liberated from smoking tobacco contaminated with PTFE powder.
4. Void the inhalation of PTFE resin and eye contact
5. After processing, have a complete cleanup of face and hands.
6. The wastes produced in the processing must be disposed by specialized personal and disposal should be in compliance with the waste disposal regulations of the relevant district and country respectively
7. Before using PTFE powder, please read the safety data sheet carefully.
Storage & Handling
The products should be stored in clean, cool, shady, draughty and dry warehouses so as to avoid the contamination of dust and moisture. During transportation, shearing must be avoided to prevent the resin from any cases of agglomerate.
Packing
Product is packed in double layer plastic bags, inside bag is made of polyethylene resin, and outside bag is made of polyvinyl chloride.
The bags are packed in cardboard drums lined with moisture-proof plastic film.
Net weight of per drum is 25kgs
Product can also be packed according to customer's requirement.
